ALL LEVEL
Fitness Yoga Core is an effective and exciting “Mind” and “Body” workout. It is a safe practice that will make you sweat and work hard, connecting breath with movement. It combines aerobic and anaerobic movements, as well as elements from Hatha Yoga and traditional exercise, linked together in a flowing series of poses that create strength, flexibility, endurance and balance. Fitness Yoga is about exploring your limits physically and mentally, working all parts of your body equally to create balance that will compliment other activities of daily life. The class is offered in a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere to release stress and tension.

MINIMUM PROPS REQUIRED: blocks & strap

ALL LEVEL
Are you looking for a fitness class that incorporates the ideology of yoga and the fitness aspects of resistance training? Then Functional Yoga Core & Strength is for you! In this class we will use a multitude of props: hand weights, straps, a chair, etc., to help with our balance and develop more awareness, functional strength, and work on creating space, within our bodies. We will further be practicing some basic yoga postures and fundamental yoga principles while working on our breath and spending time working on flexibility and overall vigor. This class is designed for balanced wellness, with lots of variations and options for all levels of physical ability.

MINIMUM PROPS REQUIRED: 1-5lb yoga mat / hand weights / strap / yoga blocks

MIX LEVEL
Fitness Yoga is an effective and exciting “Mind” and “Body” workout while Pilates consists of low-impact flexibility and muscular strength and endurance movements, creating a cohesive, well-rounded workout. Fitness Yoga&Pilates intricately weaves together and forms a practice which channels into flexibility, strength, joint mobility, and releasing tension and stress! Combining these two practices, Fitness Yoga&Pilates is a safe practice that will make you sweat and work hard, all while allowing stress and tension to melt away as we work through poses in a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere.

MIX LEVEL
Fitness Yoga Core & Strength is a safe, effective, and invigorating approach to improving and maintaining quality of movement and strength for an active lifestyle. The focus will be on back and core work, muscular toning, and connecting the breath with fluid movement. Along with the use of 1-5 pound hand weights for traditional body sculpting, use of a 9-inch exercise ball will be utilized to engage the “abdominal girdle,” strengthening, toning, and stabilizing the core center. With this class, you will be able to customize your practice with variations, modifications, and enhancements all while focusing on connecting the breath with movement.

55+ YEARS OLD
Are you this person?” I am not flexible enough to do yoga or I have a bad back, I can’t do yoga.” This is the class for you! This class is designed for the needs of the older population or anyone who might have limited range of motion. In this class we will use a chair as a prop to aid in the opening process and allowing everyone to be able to participate. With the focus on joint mobility and range of motion, this class will help gently open the body and allow quality of movement while helping to reduce stiffness and pain while incorporating some breathe regulation and relaxation.
